The «2VS2 HIP HOP BATTLE» says it all: this is where moves meet pure passion, true to the motto of dance legend Mr. Wiggles: “If you don’t Bounce, Rock, Skate & Roll, Boogie, Down, Break with Soul – then it’s not hip hop!” Following an intense preselection, the TOP 16 teams will give it their all in knockout battles until the final four duos remain. This elite group will qualify for the high-stakes grand finale on Sunday at Große Freiheit 36.

SUNDAY, 14.06.2026

The competition will be held in an "All Battles All" format – each team completes a total of three battles, collecting rounds and jury votes along the way. At the end, the two strongest teams will advance to the Final Battle. The winning team will take home the title, the prize money, and the FreeSpirit All-Week-Pass.

How can I participate?

To participate, you and your teammate must register at and8.dance.
On the day of the event, make sure to arrive on time for the preselection – if all goes well, you'll qualify for the knock-out battles.
If you make it to the final rounds at "Große Freiheit" on Sunday, you’ll need to stay in Hamburg until then to compete for the title and the prize money. So, make sure to clear your schedule and sign up right away!
