BREAKING CREW

The «BREAKING CREW BATTLE» brings international teams from across the scene to Hamburg, with a sharp focus on hard, direct battles and genuine competition. The preselection kicks off on Saturday at Kulturpalast Harburg. Crews of five to eight dancers will face off in knockout rounds – showcasing everything from massive, choreographed group routines to powerful solo or duo moments within the crew. Nothing is handed to you here; every spot in the final must be earned.

SUNDAY, 14.06.2026

The action continues on Sunday at Große Freiheit 36. The qualifying crews will go head-to-head with the 2025 champions. In a round-robin-format, everyone battles everyone else to collect points from the jury – the two strongest teams will advance to the final. In this last battle, everything is on the line. No distractions, just pure performance and presence. First place takes home €10,000 in prize money.

How can I participate?

To participate, you and your crew must register at and8.dance.
On the day of the event, make sure to arrive on time for the preselection – if all goes well, you'll qualify for the knock-out battles.
If you make it to the final rounds at "Große Freiheit" on Sunday, you’ll need to stay in Hamburg until then to compete for the title and the prize money. So, make sure to clear your schedule and sign up right away!
